Disappointing KS Trip

Last Saturday evening, after coming back from the day trip visiting the Water Treatment Plan, at around 3.30 p.m. my two friends and myself, went to Kuala Selangor for a sight-seeing and seafood dinner.

Unfortunately... halfway through our journey......

It begins to rain cats and dogs.... and 15 minutes later....

It becomes heavier....

We thought there goes our plans to watch the sun set at the famous Bukit Melawati (Believed to be haunted). We reached Kuala Selangor but the rain doesn't seem to co-operate with us but we went to Bukit Melawati anyway. We stop there for awhile but it was pouring quite heavily so, we did not went out from our car. The place is a really suitable spot to watch the sunset and you can even see the whole of Kuala Selangor from up there. We will be going there next time so let me just save the best for last ok.

Next, we went to a restaurant seafood restaurant for our dinner, no photographs of the dishes cause I am quite disappointed and left my camera in the car.

We ordered, a plate of oyster fried bee hoon, Turtle said that it is a famous dish but I find that the taste is just normal not really special and it is edible. We also ordered some crabs, mantis prawns fried with cheese and bamboo clams. All of the dishes are quite delicious but..... it not good for health as all those food are very very rich with cholesterol!!!!!!!!! (That's why no pictures were taken!)

Later, when the rain began to stop, I went to the car and took out the camera. These were some of the pictures that I managed to took from the restaurant.

Yes, most of the restaurant here are built along the river bank Kuala Selangor ma.....

Ha! Before that, this is part of Bukit Melawati, there is a light house if you see properly. This light house is believed to be the oldest lighthouse in Malaysia. For more story about Bukit Melawati.... wait for the next time I go there if you are too impatient to wait, then you either go to google it yourself or you can go there on your own.

One of us get something free from the seafood restaurant.... Diarrhea :( (Cirit or 'lau sai' lor)

Smile so sweet here but in the next morning.... she smiles no more. my poor sweet heart, next time we pack some sandwich there okay.

Ready... Aim.... Fire!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In our daily life, we might meet or have to bear with those people that just do not think before they open their big mouth..... The words will just come shooting out from their mouth like arows or more accurate laser!!!!

It is very irritating, annoying and very hurtful most of the times no doubt and sometimes it really can get on to your nerves till you really feels like giving them a piece of your mind back!!!!!

In most case, it is better to just stay calm and ignore all those nonsense... I mean why want to let such a person spoiled your day anyway? They don't deserved a single attention from you anyway..... So just take it easy... have a kitt katt!!!!

Life won't be so interesting and colourful without this kind of people around anyway.......

They really can test your level of patience......

My Saturday Morning Trip

Last Thursday afternoon (I think) we received a memo stating that our "kelas ganti sempena Hari Raya' is postponed to 25th April 2009 because of Good Friday and Easter. Most of my colleagues were happy but I was stunned and a bit blank. I was thinking to my self " Oh! Gosh! how am I going to spend my weekends in KKB, AGAIN?".

I quickly think of ways to spend my weekends, first I think I will go to KL to find my friends but.... I am going there the next week. so I won't go this week. Then I think of getting my "maktab" friends just to have a small gathering... again I scrap out the idea cause they might not be free since most of them are married. So at last i think 'Well, I might as well go to Batang Kali and find my 'Yang' the whole Saturday.' but then again " Hmm... Why don't I ask my sweet heart and Turtle to and visit the National Zoo?" Yup I did asked them, my sweet heart says ok but Turtle was making lots of fuss about that. There goes my weekends I thought....

I was a bit upset so I complained to some of my friends about it. I told my sweet heart on msn first and she said we discuss on Friday. Then saw DD online and whine to her... her answer "Go to Lawyatt lor..." :(Bad suggestion, that is the last place on earth I am going cause now I am not that financially fit to go there.) Then I also whine to my Darling and she said " Go to KL and Find your friends la." ( Nope, not a good idea). I was quite bored for the rest of Thursday...

On Friday morning, My Sweet Heart to me "Hey! why Don't you follow me for the school trip tomorrow morning?" So I reluctantly agreed (I was lazy to wake up early in the morning mah....)

Well, on Saturday morning I woke up at 7.30 a.m. (I slept around 3.45 a.m. the previous night so I am very glad that I can still wake up early) and by 8.30 I was at the school with my Sweet Heart already.

Where are we going? well we are going to visit....

Boring you say? Wei! if you have nowhere else to go during your weekends,this can be an interesting place to go also ok.......

So while we are waiting for all the 40 students to arrived, my sweet heart and me was fooling around with our camera.....

Still remember the mural that I almost destroyed, luckily my sweet heart fires me at the right moment and now see, this is the proud Team Leader with her team's mural all finish and well done. (A big applause for them)

Around 9 something, we arrived at the place...

Just look at these rascals... actually they can be adorable when they behave themselves and not lazy in doing their school work.

Actually we did not quite reached our destination yet cause....

the bus is too heave to go up hill and therefore all of us have to walk up on foot!!!!!!!! Wah! Everyone really sweat like mad la when we reached up there.

See... what a long way to climb!!!!!!! Really thanks for inviting me Sweet Heart!!!!!!!!

We were served with simple breakfast when we arrived

After that, we were given a short briefing by one of the staff before......

We start our climb to the Water Treatment Plant "Oh! Gosh! Not again!!!!"

See how far we have to climb? Actually not that far la, only It's sloppy so it is kind of tiring for a lazy bum like me...


Our first stop... some water filtering place (not really sure forget liau)

The water flows from the big first filtering pool to here the second pool for "proses pengenapan" (Don;t know how to translate into English)

Yucks!!!! If you think this is disgusting and dirty, You should go to look at the loji in KL which is far more worse than this. That is because Sungai Gombak and Sungai Klang is many times more dirty and poluted than Sungai Kuala Kubu Bharu.

Than I saw this sign in front of the lab... If you don't have time to take your shower, you can take it here at the emergency shower hehehehehe! Nola just kidding. I think it is a place for the staff to clean themselves if they accidentally spilled some chemical on themselves....


Next, the filtered water are flow here for some more filtering to filter all the small dirt and sand particles.

Then we walk down hill to the treatment water place

Here is the place where they mix the water with clorine to kill all the germs and bacteria I think.

Yuck just look at how dirty the water is... just like teh tarik.....

Then hor the water will flows through this pipe to other place for some more treatment and mixing with florida and other chemical to make sure that the water is save for us to use before it was distribute to our house lor.

After that, the staff have some quiz for the students and 20 of them won themselves a free T-shirt each. Everyone wwew very happy and exciting at the end cause eeach and every one of us, yes including us the 4 teachers were given some nice souvenirs

Nice leh. Do not be jealous la, I have to wake up early and do all that climbing you know...

I am really glad that I went, Thanks a lot Sweet Heart.... muak!

Roadhouse Cafe cum Pub

This is an out dated post cause I should have published this post long long time ago but I was too lazy to do so. Some more I get a second warning from my so call big brother Mr. Wong not to put his picture in my blog or else he will poke my hand with the fork but anyway its an old story already so I guesses he won't be bother about it anymore.

So last March holiday, when I was supposed to stay at home studying my PTK, I was quite bored staying all alone in the house since my mom has to work, so I went to St. Nicks to meet up with my dearest aunties and ole colleagues for the whole day.

As for my lunch, I had dated my so call big Bro and sis-in-law (Mr. and Mrs. Wong). We had a lavish and a really good western food at Roadhouse Grills (I think... I forgot the actual name already) it's a restaurant cum pub. The moment you walk in the restaurant, you will feel like you are in some kind of old cowboy movie cause the place is furnished like some cowboy pub concept.


A clean and cosy restaurant, suitable for relaxing. We went there on a weekday so we were the only customers there.


Most of the waiter there speaks in English cause they are cowboys therefore they MUST speak in English so if you dosen't want to converse in English then you cannot eat here...Hahaha! nola, most of the waiter are foreigner workers la... I think they are either Vietnamese or Burmese and I asume they can converse in Bahasa Malaysia too.


Wah many bottles of different kinds of wines and the place was lighted with yellow lamps so quite romantic la...

When we were sitted on our table, suddenly the waiter put this metal pail on our tables and I was wondering what was the pail for... to wash our hands is it? I 'kaypoly' curios so I took a peek in the pail and......



I saw lots of big Shandong nuts inside (jump with joy!!!!) so we just grab the nuts and start to crack and munch to our hearts content. After that....

Me: Eh, where to throw the shells ha?
Joy: Just put on the table beside your plate la.
YL Wong: Ceh! No need lah, just throw it on the floor like me la.
Christine: Eh! Can not do like that la. Just put on the table la later the waiter will come and clean one la.

So I obediently follow my sis in-law advice and pile up the shells on the table... Later when the waiter comes to take the order, he just sweep all our shells on the Floor!!!! Yes Christina and I look at each other and was speechless for awhile, but later she broke into a thunderous laughter.



YL Wong: There, there I've told you already, they will just throw it on the floor la....

There are so many choice to choose from the menu and we just ca not make up our mind what to choose.

Poor Christina was busy reading the menu aloud to the three of us who were.... cockeyes Hehehehe! And everytime she finish reading a dish name we will be saying 'Wah! Not bad hor, nice la...' after about 10 minutes goung through the menu with us, finally we settle with he set lunch.

A big glass of grape juice which is free flow. Taste exactly like Ribena but I like it so I refill 3 times I think.

Next, come the chicken plus mix vegetables soup. It's not the creamy type but I love it anyway.


After that our main course was served in a hot sizzling plate Mr. and Mrs. Wong sizzling steak with mix vege and baked potatoes.

Finally we were served with a nice cup of coffee. After chatting for awhile, we went back to St. Nicks to meet up with my other ex-colleagues.

Gurney Drives in the afternoon. nice scene leh got many trees along the road, a good spot to jog in the morning and a relaxing place to hang out at night.

Seaside view.... See, tanjung Tokong really change a lot these past years with so many new apartments growing up like mushrooms.

OOO.......... I love Penang... I miss my hometown... Let me go Home!!!!

Turning 30........

Wow.... I just cannot imagine that in a couple of days time, I will be turning 30....... yup 30 years old. Wow..... iIt sounded scarry and kind of creepy when you see how time flies by so QUICKLY! It's feels like yesterday I was in primary school and now I'm still in Primary school but I am 30!!!!! Gosh!!!!!!!I just can't believed it.... That means I am....... 'lau liau' getting older already Aiya! why suddenly my back feels a bit pain and my fingers feels so numb typing on the keyboard.... 'cough! cough!'

That means, I cannot be so 'siau' do silly things anymore liau lo, I must start to be more mature liau lo.... cannot laugh loudly with my younger friends liau lor.... no more taking silly photos and cracked silly jokes liau lor.... no more calling and scolding people 'shot plug', your head, 38 and so on liau lor.... no more beating and pinching people playfully liau lor and no more SD, DD, Sweetheart, Dear, Darling, Honey, 'Yang' and others liau lor.... and also hor, must take care of health liau, must 'haramkan' fast food and fried food liau.... must only take one meal of rice, can only eat biscuits or oats for dinner. Scared of getting high blood pressure, diabetes, heart attack or stoke ma... Haih.... what to do old liau ma must be mature and take care of the ailing body ma... must set a good example to the younger generations.... cannot be playful already must be more serious and mature..... but

I will still keep my cuddly soft toys, play computer games, watch my favourite cartoons, eat popcorn, drink coffee, eat ice cream and go ronda at law yat!!!! And if anyone beat or pinch me, I will give back one surely, self defence ma. Hehehehe!

Many of my friends keep on asking me "Eh! Why you dun wan find BF?" "What, you think you still young ah? Don't tell me you want to stay single till you are old?" "You don't want to have a family meh?" When you are old that time, you got no children to look after you when you are sick, then only you know!" Ok, ok, ok most of you got the point there and I really really appreciate your concern gal.... Oh.......... I am so touched... I wanna cry liau... sob... sob....

But hor, no BF or got BF also I cannot die ma.... why want to worry so much? Just take a break, have a kitt katt la..... If I ever get married then.... well, ok lor, if I did not get married also no problem ma, I have a career of my own, I can feed myself so what is the problem here? Oh, if I am sick or unwell no one is going to look after me? Ok, that's why la I must be more careful and not make myself sick lor, since no one is going to care for me, I must care for myself lor... so apa mau susah? If old already how ah? Errrrr..... not yet retire ma so why want to think so far leh? Just take it easy and enjoy life la.........

FOUND IT!!!!!!!!

After having my observation done by my GB last Friday, I've decided to give myself a break from all the stress and tension that had accumulate for the past two weeks before the observation. I am really glad and relief that it's over... for now.

Well, this is what I did to keep myself happy and contented at that moment...

Yup!!!!!! That is me at KKB KTM station waiting for the train not to go back to Penang but to KL.

I have to wait for quite some time, so I get bored and started to take pictures at the station... Lonely deserted KKB station.......

Anyway, at last the train arrived. I am not alone at that time..... cause I was with......

These two gorgeous ladies..... they are ladies and not girls anymore ok..... still young, pretty and available at the moment.

Then, we stop at Rawang KTM station and waited again for the train to KL Sentral.... Malaysia punya transport system lor.... have to wait, change trains and wait again what a waste of time and energy........




After reaching KL Sentral at around 11 something a.m. we proceed to the Monorail by foot. Before that, we went to have our brunch as my stomach is grumbling but unfortunately, the place that we choose served a disappointing brunch so we had a disappointing brunch at KL Sentral.... (The moral of the story is: Never choose a restaurant or cafe that is empty in KL Sentral)
Since we are not very happy with our lunch or brunch, we decided to do this while we are on our way walking out of KL Sentral........

My Sweet Heart was complaining that it was too far to walk from KL Sentral to Monorail (Since they are now doing some constructions to built a mall in between KL Sentral and Monorail the short cut to monorail was close up) She was saying "Aiya! so far like walking from your place to school!" well, i don't think it's that far la but i was just wondering if DD was there with us.... surely more "Aiyo" and "Aiya's" one.

At last we are in the Monorail to go to Times Square and Law Yat!!!!!!!!

I went to Law Yat and I bought myself an early Birthday gift.....

A brand new mp3 player for RM 200+..... Wow! I am not rich la but I need to entertain myself in the bus or train ma when I go back to KKB alone from Penang.....

Then we went to Time Square and something unexpected happened...... At last, after searching from near to far, from high and low, from north to south, from east to west, from Malaysia to Japan...... after searching for many years at last I found.................... my precious cuddly buddy in Time Square......

Hehehehe! Not this one la....... this is a mascot of a Japanese Instant Noodle la...

Yes At last I've found my precious limited but pirated edition of..........

DORAMI@DORALIN at Time Square............ I am so the very happy at that moment, I just cannot believe my eyes. My Sweet Heart ask for a discount as the price was a little bit expensive I think but the shopkeeper said that "Sorry cannot give discount, this Doreamon sister very hard to come about one, and it this the last one we had."

You can say that I am crazy la but yes I bought it up for RM 50 +.... Ouch!!!!!!! a pinch in the heart and pocket. (If the pirated one cost this much, I wonder.... how much is the original one???)

My Sweet Heart was laughing at me by saying " Wah! You really had an early Birthday gift hor, so we no need celebrate for you liau la?"
