New Year's Eve at Genting Highlands

This is the second time that I went for countdown during new year's eve.The first time I went for countdown was during the millennium year. At that time I was still a uni student and my Sam Kar Ceh dragged me to Bukit Bintang and KLCC for countdown and to watch fireworks (Well that was the first time in my entire life that I get a chance to watch fireworks in front of my 4 own eyes, live!)


During 31st Dis 2008 this year..... I actually thought that I will welcome the year 2009 by sitting
all alone and staring at my only loyal, old buddy (My beloved acer la, not my dog la) but I was totally wrong as Turtle, suddenly said that he wanted to go to Genting to find his friends so Plum, Tomato, Banana and me 'tumpang' his Avanza all the way to Genting la.


We reached Genting around 9 something and I was starving already. Plum and Tomato wanted to buy some clothes at the B.U.M before going for dinner. Poor Banana and me were left wondering around the indoor theme park. About half an hour later, they came out of the shop empty handed... Foooooooh!


After that, we went to the food court.... and to our disappointment, almost everything that we
wanted to eat were sold out, so at last we landed ourselves at Burger King!!!!! (fat hopes!!!) nola we went to a Hong Kong restaurant (Dunno what it is call in English)...




Plum was trying to fool around with my camera.... I look very 'chan' here cos I am hungry and tired of waiting so long for my food to come.


Me and Banana...... I forced myself to smile at the camera despite that my stomach is crying out for food.

Dish ordered by Plum.... looks yummy and tasty but I don't know what is it called.

At last my Pork chop with rice come liau...... I think it is yummy la since I am so hungry at that time.

Me and Plum outside Genting First World resort's car park waiting for the countdown...... Brrrrr...... very cold!!!

The weather was cold and yet the crowd was still building up.....

Happy New Year!!!!!! The scene of happy people dancing and yelling on top of their lungs at the car park after the fireworks!!!!!!!!!!!!

After the fire works, we did not stay around to party cos everyone is too old for that... Hehehe! nola we were getting tired and sleepy already so we made our way to meet Turtle at the bus station.



The crowd were not so bad here, but as we moved on to the first world casino.......


Oh my! Oh my! The crowd is so huge that I can barely moved an inch...

This is how busy the traffic on the road after the countdown.... Well not so bad though as we reached KKB around 2 something in the morning.
